Terms of Service

These Terms govern access to and use of Le Maison, the private marketplace connecting luxury brands with creators. By applying for access, or by using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

Last updated: August 19, 2026

The service

Le Maison is a private, invitation-only marketplace. Access is not open to the public: every applicant joins through the waitlist at /join, and an administrator reviews and either approves or rejects each application. Le Maison may, at its discretion, decline an application, or suspend or terminate an existing account, including for a violation of the Zero Tolerance section below.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to apply for or use Le Maison. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate.

Our role as an intermediary

Le Maison provides the platform, tools, and payment infrastructure that let brands and creators discover each other, negotiate, and manage a collaboration. When a brand and a creator agree to a deal, the collaboration agreement is between the brand and the creator — Le Maison is not a party to that agreement and is not responsible for a member's performance, conduct, or the quality of deliverables. We do, however, hold and release funds for a deal, and we enforce these Terms across the platform.

Payments

To start a campaign, a brand prefinances a campaign budget. Le Maison charges a platform fee of 20% of the deal value (a 10% connection fee and a 10% curation fee). The remainder is paid to the creator through Stripe Connect once the corresponding deliverable is approved.

What is purchased through Le Maison is a real-world marketing service — the creation and publication of promotional content by a real creator on their own social channels — not digital content, virtual goods, or a subscription delivered inside the app. Payments are processed by Stripe; Le Maison does not store full card details.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour

Reporting, blocking, and enforcement

Le Maison has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. The following are strictly prohibited anywhere on the platform, including in messages, profiles, portfolios, and campaign materials:

  • Harassment, threats, bullying, or hateful conduct directed at another member.
  • Hate speech or content that attacks people based on a protected characteristic.
  • Sexually explicit content.
  • Impersonation of another person, brand, or entity.
  • Spam, scams, or unsolicited commercial messaging.
  • Illegal activity of any kind.

Any user who encounters objectionable content or abusive behaviour can report the content or the user, and can block another user directly from within the app. Le Maison reviews every report and takes action — including removing the content and expelling the offending user from the platform — within 24 hours of the report. Continued use of Le Maison constitutes acceptance of this policy.

Content ownership and license

You retain ownership of the content you upload to Le Maison, including your profile information, portfolio, and deliverables. By uploading content, you grant Le Maison a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, and display that content on the platform for the purpose of operating the service — for example, showing your profile to other approved members or displaying a deliverable within a deal.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Le Maison may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms — in particular the Zero Tolerance section — or if we reasonably believe your account poses a risk to the platform or its members.

Limitation of liability

Le Maison is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Le Maison is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, or from the conduct of another member, brand, or creator. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW / JURISDICTION], without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [COMPETENT COURTS / JURISDICTION], unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim in your own country of residence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above, and where a change is material we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of Le Maison after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
